MEYLE spare parts for trucks – advanced technology for significantly longer service life.
Commercial vehicles are subject to exceptionally high stress levels. They must carry heavy loads across long distances, meaning that they are almost continuously on the road. For this reason components should be serviced at regular intervals and wear-and-tear parts replaced to avoid long and costly downtimes.
Designed with durability in mind, MEYLE spare parts are an excellent choice for a wide variety of brands including MAN, Mercedes-Benz, DAF, Volvo, Scania, Renault and Iveco and also for bus and trailer applications.
MEYLE at the flagship truck motor sports event
Restating our commitment to Truck Racing, MEYLE continues its technological partnership with the "tankpool24" racing team in 2017 supplying the crew with high-performance MEYLE parts including brake discs and pads along with engine mounts and rpm sensors.
"The operating conditions in motor racing are extremely demanding calling for extremely durable parts", says Norbert Kiss, reigning European Champion for the second year running and one of the team's experienced drivers. "In previous racing seasons, MEYLE brake discs and pads have already testified to their extraordinary strength – now MEYLE engine mounts have impressed us with their equally high quality", explains André Kursim, the team's second driver.
Seven trips to the podium for the tankpool24 Racing Team in Le Mans!
Fifty-six thousand enthusiastic spectators attended the exciting race at the historic Circuit Bugatti in Le Mans last weekend for the 8th round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. Although the tankpool24 Racing Team wasn’t quite as successful as it was a week earlier in Zolder, the drivers Norbert Kiss and André Kursim gained seven podium places in total!
André Kursim finished on the Promoter’s Cup podium in both races, finishing third and second. The tankpool24 Racing Team achieved a place on the European Champion Team podium as well. In overall standings, the tankpool24 Racing Team is currently 4th with 390 points. André Kursim is currently 2nd in the Promoter's Cup, Norbert Kiss is 3rd overall.
Markus Bauer rated the team’s results positively in retrospect. “Seven trips to the podium, three of
them for victories, one of those in the FIA classification and two in the Promoter’s Cup, plus good finishes overall and excellent reliability – this is the strongest we’ve been here. Now it remains to be seen what the finale in Jarama will bring.”
The ninth and concluding round of the season at Circuito del Jarama, situated at the very gates of the Spanish capital Madrid, takes place in two weeks, on 7 and 8 October.
