tankpool24 Racing Team to rely on MEYLE also in the 2018 racing season
At the end of May, the starting gun will be fired for the 2018 season of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship with the tankpool24 Racing Team being featured again in the line-up of competitors. 2018 is the fifth year in succession for Hamburg-based parts manufacturer MEYLE to side with tankpool24 as the racing team's technical cooperation partner, supplying premium-grade MEYLE spares and in-house engineering expertise.
The tankpool24 Racing team will be competing in the rally for the title on eight racing weekends. This season, Steffen Faas will make his debut in a tankpool24 race truck cockpit backing long-time racing veteran Norbert Kiss. A trained car mechanic, 35 year old Faas took his first steps on the truck race track in 2017 following a long and successful career in motor sports. One of his many victories occurred when he claimed the title in the KTM X BOW Battle. “I’m extremely excited to be part of the tankpool24 Racing Team and to have in Norbert Kiss such an experienced and successful team mate. The 2018 racing season is going to be a thrilling experience for us”, says team rookie Steffen Faas.
