New MEYLE-HD stabiliser for Renault

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG has enhanced its range of reinforced MEYLE-HD parts with an HD stabiliser for the Renault Mégane and Scénic models. Above-average service life is achieved by using a surface coating which exceeds OE standard. The axle strut with the new MEYLE-HD component is now available on the auto parts market for the first time, in outstanding quality.

Drivers of the Renault models, Mégane and Scénic, can breathe a sigh of relief, as in future there will be no need to repeatedly replace the stabiliser. The axle strut is a component in the rear axle and provides additional stability. However, its service life is reduced mostly on account of environmental influences such as road salt and wet conditions. Stone chippings also affect the surface coating. The Hamburg spare parts specialist, Wulf Gaertner Autoparts, now offers this stabiliser as an HD component. In contrast to the lacquered OE edition, the surface of the MEYLE-HD stabiliser is zinc-plated and lacquered. This protects the component from rust and corrosion and guarantees longer service life. “Almost every tester finds a defect to the axle strut during the MOT test because the part is often extremely corroded. “This is one of the most common reasons for MOT failure”, says Sven Nielsen, Technical Manager at Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG. “Since up to now there had been practically no alternatives to the OE component, the market requested that we develop an appropriate solution. “Wulf Gaertner Autoparts already offers other parts with special corrosive protection in its MEYLE and MEYLE-HD range, including the platinum brake disk. At the Workshop Trade Fair, Automechanika, from 14. to 20.
