New MEYLE lubricant: Ultimate performance for more driving comfort and less wear

Meyle ball joints run on special high-performance grease originated in the wind energy industry. In joint collaboration with Fuchs Lubritech, we have refined its formula to ideally meet the special needs of automotive applications. The objective was to optimise our ball joints‘ friction properties. Only after demonstrating its capability during extensive testing has the new MEYLE grease been ready for use.

As of September 2013, all MEYLE ball joints are lubricated with this custom-made grease. Designed to provide optimal compatibility with the plastic and steel friction materials used on the joint, the grease ensures uniform low-friction behaviour across the entire load range. It provides long-term anti-wear protection and prevents noise emission caused by worn out ball joints.
