Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG to extend product range for Asian applications

Hamburg/Frankfurt am Main, 11.09.2012.At the Automechanika 2012 Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG will be launching its new MEYLE Asia Line – a comprehensive range of high-quality spare parts exclusively for Japanese and Korean vehicle brands. During the Frankfurt trade show the company will be presenting the first MEYLE-HD control arm from the Asian line: Good news for the drivers of a Honda Civic VIII – they can look forward to a newly designed MEYLE-HD control arm with 4 years warranty.

Asian vehicles are also becoming increasingly popular on European markets. As a result, more and more car owners are turning to independent workshops to have their Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Mazda, Honda etc. serviced and repaired. With the MEYLE Asia Line independent repairers are now armed with an even greater choice of high-grade spare parts allowing them to offer full-service repairs to highest quality standards. The MEYLE Asia Line, which Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG will be presenting at the Automechanika 2012, features solutions for the steering & suspension system, filters and brakes.

Over the next three years, new spares parts from other product groups will be added to the existing range enabling the Hamburg manufacturer to cover virtually all popular Asian makes and models on European roads.

One of the flagship products from the steering & suspension product group starring in Frankfurt is the MEYLE-HD control arm for the Honda Civic VIII. It has been re-engineered by Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG's specialists to provide a longer service life than its OE equivalent. The ball head diameter has been increased to make the ball joint stronger and a more rugged rubber bushing design adds extra durability by reinforcing the rubber-to-metal bond and using a high-grade rubber compound.

Thanks to the technical improvements the control arm is able to optimally support stress building up between the vehicle body and the wheels during operation. Thanks to the larger rubber-to-metal bond surface strain is distributed more evenly, which reduces the overall load acting on the bond and guarantees that the control arm can withstand the high loads which occur during continued dynamic driving. This is why Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG gives a full 4-year warranty on the MEYLE-HD part.

In addition to the MEYLE-HD control arm for Honda Civic VIII, the MEYLE Asia Line already offers a wide range of HD stabilizer links for Asian vehicles.
