  • OE-compliant: All components fulfil the OE specifications for modern air suspensions, are developed with experienced OE partners, and are tested according to MEYLE standards.

  • Durable and long-lasting: High-quality materials, vehicle-specific winding technique and individually tested sensors ensure reliable performance.

  • Full system compatibility: Electronics, active damping control and air bellows are seamlessly integrated into the vehicle system.

Independent workshops receive access for the first time to OE-compliant air suspension components. With the new air suspension product group comprising air suspension strut, air spring and level control sensors, MEYLE is filling a gap in the independent aftermarket. Where workshops dealing with premium vehicles had to either resort to expensive OEM parts or accept components for which active damping control was often limited or tightness could not be guaranteed, the MEYLE parts now permit value-based repairs without quality compromises.

“With the new product group, we’re responding to rising demand in the aftermarket,” explains Sönke Schwenck, Head of Cooling, Filter and Damping at MEYLE. “Vehicles are on the road for longer and longer. With increasing vehicle age and more miles on the clock, the likelihood of faults increases, and so the demand for spare parts for air suspensions increases too.”

Three components – built to OE-level quality

The new product group comprises air suspension struts, air springs and level control sensors manufactured to OE specifications and the highest quality standards. Both the air bellows and the air springs are manufactured according to OE requirements using a winding technique tailored specifically to the vehicle, whereby cross-ply, multi-ply or straight-ply filament winding is used as appropriate, ensuring excellent driving comfort. The electronics and damping control meet the original specifications. Moreover, the level control sensors are designed to strict MEYLE standards and are individually tested.

In addition, the premium packaging with tray system not only permits safe transport and easy extraction, but does not use any foam material. For market launch, MEYLE is covering key applications in Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover vehicles along with further premium brands. Continuous expansion of the portfolio is planned.

The company is thus opening up an area that was previously closed to independent workshops, and enabling them to carry out economically practical repairs without stinting on quality and functionality. The new air suspension product group is available as of immediately from specialist dealers.

Growing market for air suspension

Demand is currently growing for spare parts for air suspensions. In just one year, the average age of vehicles increased by three months to 10.3 years*. According to Mordor Intelligence, the market for vehicle air suspensions is set to grow from USD 12.63 billion (2025) to USD 18.96 billion (2030). This corresponds to an annual growth rate of 8.47 percent. The aftermarket segment is projected to post growth at 7.72 percent annually.**
